Map

HourGlass Map consists of 3 layers used for plotting data. The variables and sub category variables selected can be plotted on these layers of the map. Multi-level plotting is provided where projections are used to speed up data loading. The Multiple selection option is given to select more than one variable simultaneously so that two or three variables can be plotted at the same time.

Latest themes are available for map plotting. These include cartography and choropleth techniques. A choropleth map is a thematic visualization of data that makes it simple to observe how a measurement differs across a geographic area and helps in plotting the variability in a particular region.
Heat maps provide value intensities for radius mapping. A heat map is a type of visualization that is used to demonstrate the data intensity at various geographical points. Enabling or turning on the heat maps will allow a colored overlay to appear on the map. The master layer section offers the option to turn the layers on or off. Similarly the search box can be turned on and off.
