Since the 1950’s, our family has been heavily involved in dental technology.
James Morgan started MT Dental Labs (Morgan-Thomson labs) in 2015. The experienced David Thomson, and also his father-in-law, owned a range of laboratories in South Africa and London, working alongside both dentists and suppliers. His daughter Ruth was showing a keen interest in dentistry at the age of 4 and by 21 was a business partner in the family-run laboratory, called Thomson Dental Lab in London, England. After a 7-year apprenticeship in the trade James joined her, and they successfully ran their business in London for 10 years, working with and servicing a range of clients. In 2007 after moving to Australia and working as technicians, James decided to open his own laboratory and MT Dental Labs was born.
Having over 35 years’ experience between them, they believe that the most important aspects of being a dental technician include creating effective and practical solutions using quality products to keep patients more than happy with their services.
